At 1230 meters above sea level, in the vicinity of Ocozocoautla, is located the Itzae coffee plantation. In this Mayan land there are some of the best coffee trees in Chiapas.
We are convinced that the best coffee comes from an integrated community. For this reason, at Grupo Balancán we strive for the best development of the families involved with the coffee plantation and the environment.
Our coffee is the result of a sustainable use of resources available at the coffee plantation without resorting to non-organic products. In addition, the construction of a school is giving children and adults the opportunity to learn about the outside world.
We seek to improve the well-being of all parties involved through a better cup a coffee.
